Zhelensky’s daughter opposes running for a second presidency in Ukraine

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zhelensky said his eldest daughter did not want to run for a second term and that his family had been badly affected by his presidency.

He said, “My daughter always raises this topic. She doesn’t want me to compete a second time. No matter how much I love my daughter, it depends on what level we have time to do.”

Regarding her daughter’s educational future, she said, “She will only study here because I am the President of Ukraine, not the President of another country. It is my wish and we have such an agreement with her. Although it is very difficult for her, if she studies abroad, she can study without security.” “..As far as I know, I think she would like to choose the field of international relations because she wants to tackle the international economy.”

According to a poll conducted by the Ukrainian Institute for the Future, Zhelensky’s rating rose to 32% from June to September, while former President Pedro Poroshenko and opposition platform Yuri Pyko shared second place. According to “Russia Today”,% support.

In the run-up to the election, as a presidential candidate, Zhelensky said he would “only hold the post for a term,” but changed his tone after becoming president, pointing to a second term.

Zhelensky became President of Ukraine in the spring of 2019, ahead of his rival, then-Ukrainian President Poroshenko, whose next presidential election in Ukraine is scheduled for 2024.
