In a recent interview with Elle magazine, Zendaya revealed the negative and less pleasant aspects of celebrity life.
The star talked about filming her new movie Challengers in Boston in 2022, and the experience made her realize just how much her fame has grown recently, with some negative consequences as a result.
“After the last Spider-Man movie and the last season of Euphoria, there was a profound change. Before, I could go anywhere and go in and out freely. But in Boston, I went straight home,” Zendaya explained.
“Everybody hangs out at a restaurant or something and says, ‘I want to do that,’ but I think I can ruin everybody’s night. ‘Cause once I get there it’s not fun,” the Emmy winner continued.
Zendaya recalled recently going to a store to pick up pillows and being photographed by customers. And when he recently visited Italy, he thought he’d go for a fun walk with his dog to take photos again. “I had to pick up his poop and I said, ‘Please don’t film me picking up my dog,'” she said.
Zendaya noted that she tries to keep her life private by sharing activities with others, including her relationship with Spider-Man actor Tom Holland.
“I have control over what I choose to share. You can’t hide. It’s not fun. I’m moving now more than ever,” Zendaya explained.
Challengers was originally slated to release this fall, but has been pushed back to April 2024 amid the current cast strike. Zendaya will also appear in Toon: Part Two alongside Timothée Chalamet and Austin Butler, which is still slated for a November release, the website said. Pop Sugar.
