On Thursday, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zhelensky launched a global fundraising platform to help Kiev win the war against Russia and rebuild the country’s infrastructure.

Zelensky said in an English video message posted on his Twitter account that “with a single click we can donate money to protect our guards, protect civilians, rebuild Ukraine and announce the United 24 site.” “Every donation is important to success,” Zelensky said.

“All money will be transferred to the National Bank of Ukraine and allocated to the relevant ministries,” Zhelensky said, adding that his government would update information “every 24 hours” on how the money was used.

Zhelensky called on ordinary citizens around the world to help Kiev defeat Moscow.

“Only if we are together can we stop the war and recreate what Russia destroyed,” he said.

He stressed that Ukraine will “always remember” these contributions.

Kiev received Western military assistance, but its army was much smaller than that of the Russian army.

Zhelensky, 44, has addressed world parliaments almost daily, urging his country to help him since the start of the Russian offensive.
