In conjunction with World Mental Health Day, the nation’s Mother Park launches the “Health and Fitness” program, which includes free yoga and meditation sessions for visitors, and aims to improve the mental health of community members and enrich their interaction with nature.
Every Wednesday from today until April 27, 2022 at 6:30 pm, there will be free yoga and meditation sessions for visitors to the park, which will help them improve their knowledge of how to relax from the hustle and bustle of life, inner flexibility and achievement. Rasha Kablawi, Director of Corporate Communications at Umm Al Emarat Park, said: “Gardens and green spaces play an important role in building society and helping individuals to relax, meditate around us, and interact with the hustle and bustle of daily life. We were eager to shed light on vulnerable stress, anxiety and mental disorders.
He added: “As Abu Dhabi’s favorite green space, we know how many of our visitors interact with nature and the outdoors. Therefore, we are always interested in highlighting the importance of nature, interacting with it, and reflecting on the mental health and well-being of community members, as we are pleased to launch this project with our partners who specialize in their fields. To encourage everyone to join us in this endeavor at Umm Al Emarat Park.
