Vatican, Council of Muslim Elders and COP28 Presidency Discuss Climate Initiative

During Monday’s meeting, the possibility of launching a joint initiative on climate change was discussed in preparation for the twenty-eighth United Nations Climate Change Conference. Unite efforts to protect the planet

The initiative calls for all religious institutions, religious leaders and civil society organizations around the world to join efforts to achieve the common goal of protecting the planet; A common home for all mankind. It aims to capitalize on the role of religions in building bridges of communication between nations, cultures and peoples and opening new frontiers for climate action. Pavilion for Interfaith and Intercultural Dialogue

The meeting also discussed setting up a pavilion for interfaith and intercultural dialogue to represent a special platform for enriching enlightened interfaith dialogue and exchanging knowledge and experiences in this field at the twenty-eighth United Nations Climate Change Conference.
