UNESCO marks United Arab Emirates National Day as World Day for the Future

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai, confirmed that the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) has unanimously recognized the United Arab Emirates National Day. December 2 is World Day for the Future, celebrated by all nations of the world. It has a greater responsibility to develop its capabilities as a role model for looking to the future, keeping pace with its changes, and reaping its benefits before all governments around the world.

The United Arab Emirates is internationally recognized as a country for the future, a vision for the future, and a key hub for the industry, a global accolade for taking on greater responsibility in developing our capabilities to be a role model.
