The Russian parliament, the Duma, announced support for a local fast food chain to replace the popular international chain McDonald’s, with the latter backtracking and announcing the closure of its stores in the country.

The new Russian brand, Mama Vanias, is expected to be operational in about a year, as proposed in parliament by the head of the Russian State Duma, Vyacheslav Volodin.

According to a report in the British newspaper “The Independent”, the new restaurant chain has taken a logo slightly closer to the McDonald’s logo, which also has gold arches.

Other sources make it clear that Moscow is planning to launch a new application called “Rosgram” as an alternative to the popular social networking site “Instagram”. .
It is noteworthy that the famous brands closed their stores in the Russian capital Moscow a few days ago.

And companies like Zara, H&M, Mango and Adidas, along with the famous coffee company Starbucks, went to clothing brands and McDonald’s restaurants, while other names in the country stopped their operations after many years. .
