Todd Howard has confirmed to IGN that Fallout 5 will be Bethesda Game Studio’s next game after The Elder Scrolls 6, which will continue with Starfield from 2023.
Howard, who spoke to IGN about the launch of Starfield Games on the Xbox Bethesda show last weekend, briefly looked at what was expected in his studio when the new IP came out:
“Yeah, Elder Scrolls 6 is in pre-production, you know, we’ll do Fallout 5 after that, so our team is packed after a while. We also look at some other projects from time to time.
Howard has previously told IGN that he had an idea for the studio to replace Fallout 5. “Fallout is really part of our DNA here. We’ve worked with others. [developers] Every once in a while – I can not tell what will happen. You know, we have a page about Fallout 5 and what we like to do. However, Howard did not confirm that it would definitely come after The Elder Scrolls 6.
Of course, with Bethesda’s current production speeds, we can look back many years to see what the Fallout 5 really is. In today’s interview, Howard confirmed that he started working at Starfield in late 2015, which means it takes more than 7 years from start to finish when the game arrives. Elder Scrolls’ last major game, Skyrim, was released in 2011, and early production is still in progress, and it will take many years to see. We learned in the past that The Elder Scrolls 6 was pushed back because the team wanted to do Starfield first.
Howard acknowledged the long wait for his fans’ favorite matches, noting that he was just as frustrated as those waiting to play them: “I hope they take the time, that they get out as quickly as I can, that we try as hard as we can, but we want them to be the best.” ” They can be all.
Fallout 4 was released in 2015, followed by the lesser known multiplayer offer Fallout 76. After many years of development Starfield finally felt close, and the first game war to be released showed a hint of customization and return to Earth. And our solar system.
Adler Scrolls 6 was announced in 2018, but we know very little about it despite some hints in the original teaser. Following the comments of Xbox boss Bill Spencer we can guess that this will be Xbox exclusive.
