Secretary General of the League of Arab States Ahmed Abul Caid, Ambassador Ahmed Rashid Gaddafi, Assistant Secretary General and Head of the Department of Media and Communication participate in the 23rd session of the Arab Radio and Television Festival. It will be held in Tunis from June 12 to 15.
Ambassador Ahmed Rashid Khattaby said that the participation in this media event organized under the slogan “Art and culture unites us” falls within the scope of close cooperation between the League of Arab States and the Arab Broadcasting Union. Its capacity as an observer member of the Council of Arab Ministers of Information is one of the active professional unions in the service of the Arab media, especially in the audio-visual sector and program production and protection of international and regional conferences and forums and broadcasting them through the Union’s platforms.
He added that the festival, started in 1981, has dedicated its renowned media message to promoting artistic creativity, fair competition, and being a platform for the exchange of expertise and experiences among partners working in the television and radio production and media industry. It also adapts to technological developments.
He also announced that the session will host an exhibition on the latest communication technologies, seminars and workshops on Arabic drama, artificial intelligence, sports commentary and documentary in the digital age. The tourism media is a collaboration between the Arab Broadcasting Union, the Arab Tourism Organization and the Tunisian authorities. The expert is suitable to highlight the role assigned to the various media in crystallizing visions and initiatives aimed at promoting inter-Arab tourism.
