This number shows how much PS5 sales have increased, as Sony announced in July that it sold more than 40 million units. This may have to do with the increased availability of PS5 devices after supply issues led to a decrease in the number of devices. In stores themselves, and PlayStation thanked all gamers for their continued support of the platform by ensuring everyone has a large stock to purchase on their platform.
