Imdad, a Dubai-based provider of integrated and sustainable facilities management services, has announced the launch of a new framework named “Sustainability from Imdad”.
The company worked to develop a sustainability framework over a 6-month period covering 4 themes including People and Places, Planet Earth, Prosperity and People.
Within the framework of the axis of visitors and places, Imdaad will support the communities in which it operates by engaging with stakeholders, protecting users from occupational risks, contributing to improving the level of local added value and contributing 1% of profits to the community. Through the Planet Earth axis, Imdad aims to reduce its impact on the planet by contributing to reducing carbon emissions, implementing recycling activities, managing biodiversity impacts, using sustainable materials and reducing water usage.
Prosperity Pillar aims to contribute to the UAE economy by providing sustainable returns to shareholders and stakeholders, increasing business margins, creating sustainable shareholder value and working with supply chains.
People Axis focuses on maintaining a rich and rewarding work environment by attracting and retaining top talent and developing their skills.
