The French company Cultures, which specializes in Vancouver: 2.0 exhibitions, one of the largest shopping centers in the world, will open a digital art center in Dubai in July, making it a major destination for international tourism during the Emirates epidemic.
Against the backdrop of classical music and soul, the works of the Dutch painter Vincent van Gogh are displayed on a large scale on the floor and walls of a dark room, giving the audience a “high-speed” experience, in the style of the Atelier of Lights Paris.
“Our mission is to make art accessible to all, so that we can share this new way of discovering art with as many people as possible,” Catherine Oriole, director of the Future Art Center, told AFP. Infinity of Lights Mall in Dubai.
The company behind the project, Cultural Places, is preparing to open several digital art centers in France and South Korea and launch one in New York in 2022.
According to Oriole, Dubai has been chosen as an international “hub” among the millions of international visitors and foreigners who represent 90% of the Emirate’s population.
“We hope to be able to create new exhibitions related to the region, manuscripts and poetry in the future,” Ms Oriel assured.

“It is very important for us to be able to connect our site with the country,” he added.
Dubai, one of the seven emirates that make up the United Arab Emirates, has relied heavily on tourism and entertainment in recent years, with little oil and a very diverse economy of the Gulf.
Dubai has been hosting the World’s Fair since October 2021, which was postponed last year due to a health crisis.
The Emirate was one of the first tourist destinations to open its doors to international visitors in the midst of an epidemic in July 2020.
Known for its majestic skyscrapers and artificial islands, the city-state received about 16 million visitors a year before the health crisis.
