Today, Emirati businessman Majid al-Futtaim passed away after an extended auction trip.
Funeral services will be held today, Friday, December 17, 2021 at Al Qusais Cemetery after evening prayers.
Majid al-Futtaim, a leading company in the field of shopping malls, integrated communities, retail and entertainment in the Middle East, Africa and Asia, today announced its intention to expand its mission. Its project aims to develop and attract Emirati talent, with the aim of providing more professional opportunities to the citizens of the country through its various departments in the United Arab Emirates and abroad.
The decision to hire 3,000 citizens came within the framework of Majid al-Futtaim’s contribution to the “NAFES” program launched by the Government of the United Arab Emirates, where the company announced its commitment and involvement in the implementation of ongoing efforts to promote the professional advancement of the nation. Employees, and in line with the objectives of the “NAFIS” program, it calls on public and private sector organizations to contribute in practice to the long-term promotion and development of national workers.
The initiative came from Majid al-Futtaimi, with the aim of overcoming barriers and encouraging more citizens of the country to work in the private sector, and in partnership with the “Nafis” program, an important step for private sector companies to enhance their contribution. Supports “50 projects” at UAE level.
