The Leadership of the Conference of the Parties (COP28) will host the Business and Philanthropy Climate Forum, which will begin on November 30 and run through the first and second of December next, in conjunction with the Global Climate Action Summit, bringing together more than 1,000 heads of state and government, business and philanthropy leaders, non-governmental organizations and participation of entrepreneurs. The event will also present the Multi-Source Financing Mechanism, a mechanism to finance climate-related projects and actions in emerging markets and developing economies, and the Climate Investment Platform, a climate technology support fund. Deploying reliable climate technology in the Global South, supporting emissions reduction technologies and ambitious climate and nature protection projects, it is funding dedicated to innovative projects focused on coral reef restoration and energy transition, the “First Movers” Alliance is committed to promoting the procurement of clean and climate technology-based products and services. .
