Former captain John Terry said on Saturday that he was trying to preserve Chelsea’s “history and heritage” by joining the Drew Blues federation in a bid to buy a 10 per cent stake in the Premier League club.

The federation was made up of former players including Terry and former Chelsea player Claire Rafferty and British entrepreneurs and fans.

The federation is advised by Oakville Capital, a leading M&A and strategic consulting firm focusing on the video games, betting and sports sectors.

“Chelsea have been an important part of my life for 22 years,” Terry wrote on Twitter. “I want to see the club’s history and heritage preserved, and enter a new era with like – minded people with the same long – term vision. Create the best football club in the world.” I’m heard about the True Blues Federation and I know they understand. “

“They are a group of Chelsea fans and season ticket holders.

Teams led by British real estate developer Nick Candy, the Chicago Cubs Ricketts family, Martin Proton and Sebastian Coe, president of the International Federation of Athletics Federations, have made three bids for Chelsea.

Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich sold the club after the start of the Russo-Ukrainian war, before the British government imposed sanctions on the Russian president.

With Chelsea, Terry won five Premier League titles and five FA Cup titles in addition to the Champions League in 2012. Defender played 717 matches for the London Club between 1998 and 2017.
