According to technical reports, the American company Google has recently updated the password management tool included in the “Chrome” browser, and with the ability to manually add new passwords for apps and websites, points out that this feature is only available in the desktop version. For a while now, it works, and the company is rolling out this feature in the Android version of Chrome as well.
Steps to Manually Add Passwords on Android
First, update the Google Chrome app to the latest version.
Open the app and tap the three dots in the top right corner.
Go to the “Settings” option, scroll down the page until you find the “Password” option and click on it.
Click “Add”.
Enter all the details like website URL, username and password.
Once the download is complete, click “Save”.
Steps to Manually Add Passwords to Desktop
Open Google Chrome from Preferences.
Go to “Settings” option on “Google Chrome” website.
Scroll to the bottom of the page and tap “Password”.
You will see the option “Add Passwords” and click on it.
After that, another window will pop up asking you to enter your login information.
Enter the required details and click “Save”.
