“So happy”… Big breaks his silence on his split from Shakira

Former Spanish soccer star Gerard Pique has broken his silence on his split from popular singer Shakira and talked about how he tried to protect his children in the aftermath, the Independent newspaper reports.
Big talked about his ex-partner and their two children (10-year-old Milan and 8-year-old Sasha) during an interview with a Spanish newspaper. The player discussed why they didn’t speak publicly after their split in June 2022.
“Everybody has a responsibility to try to do what’s best for their kids,” he said, “and that’s to protect them. That’s the job of all parents with kids. That’s what I focus on, that’s my job as a father.
Last month, Shakira revealed that she was finding her strength again after ending her 11-year relationship. During an interview, Big mentioned that he was focusing on himself just weeks after posting a photo via Instagram with his new girlfriend, Clara Sia Marti.
“I’ve always been very emotionally dependent (on men) – I have to admit,” the artist explained. I was in love with love.
And he continued, “When a woman faces hardships in life, she comes out stronger. As she grows stronger, she learns to recognize and accept her weaknesses.
Like Big, the singer has been prioritizing her two children since the breakup, adding that she now feels complete with her two sons.
And she said, “I feel complete; Because I rely on myself and I have two children who depend on me… I must be stronger than Asad.
Elsewhere in his interview, Bigg noted that he is “very happy” in his personal life and is in a position to continue doing the things he loves.
He explained, “On the day I die, I hope to look back and always do what I love. I aspire to be true to myself… and not spend money to clean up my image.
He praised the “people who love him and care about him” and how “important” they are to him.
He continued, “I spend my energy with my loved ones, giving them what I have. I am very happy. My life has changed and I know how to maintain happiness.
Last month, Big spoke out about his new relationship for the first time, revealing that Marte helped build his wardrobe. He continued, “The truth is, I go shopping with my girlfriend and she buys me clothes.”
