The animated film The Tower will be screened during the activities of the Franco-Arab Film Festival in Baghdad. The show airs today, Saturday, March 12, at the Iraq Theater in Baghdad.
The tower has received numerous awards at the International Children’s Film Festival in Chicago, winning two awards, the Liv Ulman Peace Prize and the Jury Prize for Lisbon Animated Film, and the Jury Prize for Second Best Animated Film. Festival, Special Jury Prize and Best Music Award. Jury Prize for Pesach Festival, Award presented by High School Youth at the International Youth Audience Festival and Best Editing Award at the Kosmurama International Film Festival in Trondheim, Norway. The film was nominated for two awards at the Norwegian International Film Festival and the Amanda Festival hosted by the Norwegian Film Institute.
The film revolves around an 11 – year – old girl named Wardi, who lives in a Palestinian refugee camp, and learns about her family history through stories told to her by three previous generations of refugees.
The Tower is an animated film written and directed by Mats Groot, and voiced by the characters Laila Najjar, Makram J. Gauri, Mohammed Bakri, Mona Hawa, Murad Hassan, Hanan Al-Hello, Saleh Bakri, Shadon Kanpura, Arabic, Sound Engineering, dubbing director in Arabic and casting, Norwegian-Swedish-French co-production Leela Khan in the world and its distribution Handled by solutions.
