Scholarships for outstanding residents from needy families to study nursing

At the Abu Dhabi Technical and Vocational Education and Training Center, Fatima College of Health Sciences, affiliated with the Emirates Red Crescent Authority and Applied Technology Institute, represented by the “Ataya” initiative, concluded an agreement. Adaya”, provides scholarships to meritorious female resident students from needy families registered and covered under the auspices of the Authority. Study Nursing in Fatima College of Health Sciences as per the conditions prescribed by the College.

Sheikh Shamzah bint Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, wife of Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Representative of the Ruler of Al Dhafra Region and Chairman of the Emirates Red Crescent Authority, is Assistant to the President. Commission on Women’s Affairs and Chairman of the High Council of Adaya Initiative, “Adaya” always seeks to adopt initiatives to improve the organized human development process in the country and to win new partners to enhance this process. Their commitment to the social responsibility entrusted to them.

Her Highness said that this agreement is a qualitative leap in the field of strengthening the partnership between the two sides and represents an advanced step in the “Ataya” initiatives, which each year covers a vital and important sector in humanitarian and development aspects.

Also, Dr Mubarak Al Shamsi, Director General of Abu Dhabi Technical and Vocational Education and Training Centre, said: “The application of the advanced (Abu Dhabi Technical) strategy aims to develop leading workforce and skills with prestigious academic degrees. , Emergency Medical Assistance, up to Bachelor Degree in Nursing and Pharmacy, Radiology, Physiotherapy and Psychology, to provide specialized personnel according to the highest international standards to health institutions in the country.
