Paris Saint-Germain coach Mauricio Pochettino said his team-mate Lionel Messi could join the PSG squad to face Brest today, Friday, in the third week of the French league.
Messi, 34, who has not been featured for the French giants since joining Barcelona earlier this month, beat Strasbourg 4-2 last Saturday.
“We have not yet decided on the squad, in which we will explore the possibility of selecting Messi,” Pochettino told a news conference ahead of the match with Brest.
He added: “Everything is positive, the atmosphere on the team is good, (Messi) has changed nicely and quickly, and the feeling is good.”

The Argentine coach has ruled out speculation about the departure of Paris Saint-Germain striker Kylian Mbabane during the current transfer, amid media expectations that World Cup winner Real Madrid could go with France.
“Mbabane is our player, he should be with us this season,” Pochettino said.
He added: “There’s still a year left in his contract. Even if he doesn’t renew it, he’s still a Saint-Germain player, and we’re glad he’s here. As I understand it, he’s here too.
Saint-Germain are currently third in the French league, with six points from two matches, six points behind the Anchors and Clermont, trying to regain the title Lily won last season.
