Abdul Ghafoor passed away yesterday evening, Sunday, at the age of 81, following a traffic accident with his wife on the Egypt-Alexandria desert road. He died, his wife survived.

The funeral procession of the late artist Ashraf Abdel Ghafoor was held yesterday afternoon Monday from the Police Mosque in Sheikh Zayed, in the presence of a large number of artists who were keen to attend and offer condolences to the late artist’s daughter. Reham Abdel Ghafoor, who has been in a state of shock since learning of the news of his death yesterday, Sunday, among the main stars who attended the funeral were Ahmed Al-Sakka, Ahmed Helmi, Mustafa Qamar, Tonya Samir Khanem and her husband, journalist Rami Ratwan, Ahmed Al-Saatani, Hanan Mudawa, Mohammed Riad. and Tina El-Sherbini.

Artist Ashraf Abdel Ghafoor passed away before he could finish filming his latest work of art “Black Point” with Ahmed Fahmy and Nahed El Sebai, filmed in the Lebanese capital Beirut. His share in the work is 20% for him, including important scenes, and he started. The producers of the series are making comments and suggestions about handling the remaining scenes of the late artist in the work.
