Pixel 6 series to get Magic Eraser ‘camouflage’ on July 28
Magic Eraser is one of the new tricks that came with the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro, but it has found a new trick besides the Pixel 6a in “camouflage”. Now, the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro are confirmed to add the new feature in a few days.
“Camouflage” joins the regular Magic Eraser ability to remove grenade launchers or objects from a photo using Google Photo Editor on the Pixel 6 series phone. First announced At Google I/O 2022, we’ve come up with a largely unofficial feature Pixel 6a phone.

The only new feature that comes with the Pixel 6a, which will soon appear in the rest of the range, is ‘blur’ in the Google Photos app. This is an expansion of Magic Eraser Advertise again at Google I/O With the ability to mute the colors of objects in the image so as not to distract attention from the subject. We only briefly tested this feature, but it does exactly what Google says it does, and it works well.
You can see our results using Magic Eraser “Camouflage” below, capable of capturing distractingly bright tinted glass reduced to a muted orange color that draws attention to the background of the shot. We’ve found that this feature doesn’t always work well, and some photos don’t quite match the technology. But as with conventional material removal, it’s certainly a useful tool in the environment.
