It has not fully returned to video game exhibitions by ceasing to organize “E3” (“Electronic Entertainment Expo”), which was previously considered the most important of them. As of Wednesday, France is witnessing its biggest event in the sector. It was “Paris Sports Week”.

The companies that publish these games are increasingly turning to announcing their new games only through their own operations organized online, a trend encouraged by the “Corona” crisis.

Visitor numbers are expected to increase to “about 200,000” this year from 150,000 last year, while attendance before 2020 was around 300,000.

The big three manufacturers of game consoles, namely Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo, will be at the Parisian exhibition, as well as major publishing houses such as Ubisoft, Bandai, Namco, Capcom and Square Enix.

Although Paris Games Week is not the place for major announcements of new games, the importance of the exhibition for French “gamers” is that they will have the opportunity to test the latest new releases in the field.

Among the most anticipated games among fans are “Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth”, fighting game “Tekken 8” and “Prince of Persia the Last Crown” which will be released between January and February 2024.

The finals of the “Capcom Tour” world championship for the game “Street Fighter 6” and the “Silver Geek” competition designated for male and female players are among the most important aspects of this theater. “Over 65 years old.
