Tottenham announced Maddison’s injury and his absence from the England national team
League Plus – English club Tottenham have announced that their player James Maddison has been withdrawn from the England national team for the matches against Malta and North Macedonia in the European Nations Cup 2024 qualifiers.
A day after announcing the list, Tottenham confirmed that their player Maddison has been ruled out due to an ankle injury.
The Tottenham midfielder will not take part in the UEFA Euro 2024 qualifiers against Malta and North Macedonia and will remain at Spurs undergoing rehabilitation with the club’s medical staff, Al-Masri and broadcast channels.
It can be confirmed that James Maddison has been withdrawn from the England squad due to an ankle injury.

The England national team qualified for the 2024 European Championship after defeating Italy by three goals to one.
England’s UEFA Euro 2024 qualifiers against Malta and North Macedonia will take place in London and Skopje on the 17th and 20th of this month.
England topped its group
