Euro 2024 qualifiers… Spain beat Georgia by three goals
League Plus – The Spain national team beat the Georgia national team 3-1 in a match between the two teams at the Huevo Jose Zorilla Stadium on Sunday evening. Matches of the tenth round of the first group matches of the European countries’ Euro 2024 qualifiers.
Le Normandeau put Spain ahead in the 4th minute and Napoli star Kwisha Kvaratsikelia equalized for Georgia in the 10th minute as the first half ended 1-1.
Xavi, a star of Barcelona and the Spanish national team, suffered a serious knee injury that resulted in him being sent off in the 27th minute, with many reports suspecting a cruciate ligament injury.
In the second half, Ferran Torres added a second goal in the 55th minute to celebrate with Kavi’s shirt in his favor, while Georgia’s Luka Lukocivli scored an own goal in the 72nd minute.

With this result, the Spanish national team topped the Group A standings with 21 points and the Georgia national team placed fourth with 8 points.
Spain have secured qualification for the next European Championship in Germany.
