Former UFC lightweight champion Kabib Noormakomedov has revealed that he has already bought shares in the UFC to outdo his arch-rival Conor McGregor for years.

Last October, Nurmakomedov withdrew from mixed martial arts and decided to retire after his father and coach died of the corona virus.

The 32-year-old wrestler retired emotionally after defeating Justin Ketze in Abu Dhabi and achieved his 29th victory without any defeat, at the request of his mother following the death of his father.

Habib, the first Russian champion of the British newspaper “Mirror” UFC, focused on improving his business plans because the UFC’s parent company “Endeavor” became a public company, and Habib has already taken this step and bought shares in the company.

When asked if he had bought shares in Endeavor, Normakomedov said: “Who gave you this information? Yes, it has already happened. I have already acquired shares in UFC through an IPO and I own a portion of the shares.

Later, when asked if his role as a contributor would allow him to influence decision-making, especially at shows and competitions, Habib said: “Yes, it is possible. We have discussed this with Dana White (UFC President) a lot in our meetings. I see great opportunities for UFC. And they have huge opportunities.

Asked if the shares were a personal gift to Dana, Nurmagomedov said: “I do not want gifts. We can say that I bought shares at UFC. That would be true.”

Endeavor is listed on the New York Stock Exchange, and Normakometov’s acquisition of the shares dealt a blow to his Irish rival, Conor McGregor.

On October 7, 2018, Normagomodov defeated McGregor in a famous battle, after which the Irish champion asked for another confrontation, but Normagomodov refused several times before retiring for good.

After his dramatic victory over Eddie Alvarez at UFC 205, he became the first fighter in UFC history to hold two belts simultaneously, admitting that he wanted a stake in Macrigor.

At the time McGregor said: “They should come and talk to me now because no one has come and talked to me since the sale took place, now whose company is that? People have shares and celebrities, where is my share? Where is my property? , I want a share of the stock, I deserve it, I want what I earned.

Since then, McGregor has not succeeded in achieving what he wanted, while Normagodov has signed a contract to play professional football for Legion Dynamo in the third division of the Russian League.
