If you’re still infected with Govt, I’m sorry to tell you that there is another virus that we need to control before the situation worsens and spreads further.
It’s monkey, and there are 80 confirmed cases in 11 countries, including the United Kingdom, where no such disease is expected.
Whatever happens, is it time for us to worry or have we finally reached through the Govt.
Let it be clear: this is not a new type of goit, and we are not in a position to close the monkey box in general, but it is an unusual and unprecedented spread of this disease.
The disease has taken pathologists by surprise, and it always becomes a concern when the virus changes its behavior.
The appearance of monkey flu was greatly anticipated.
The natural habitat of the virus is considered to be wild animals, rodents, not monkeys.
The disease is most prevalent in remote areas of Central and West Africa near tropical rainforests. When a person from these areas touches an animal carrying the virus, the virus spreads from one type to another, first appearing in the form of a rash and then turning into blisters and cracks.
The virus is currently spreading outside its natural habitat and needs close, long-term contact to continue, so outbreaks will be small and they will go away automatically.
There have been a few cases in the past in other parts of the world, including the United Kingdom, but all of them could go to a country that has been infected and be directly linked to the person who brought the virus with him. But this does not apply to current cases.
The virus was first detected in people with no obvious contact with West and Central Africa.
It is not clear who is at risk for infection.
The monkey box is spread through sexual contact and in most cases causes rash on their genitals and surrounding areas.
Many of the victims are homosexuals and bisexuals.
Professor Sir Peter Harby, director of the Institute of Epidemiology at the University of Oxford, told me: “We are facing a new case, which is surprising and dangerous.”
It’s true that he’s not the second type of coward, but we must “act” to prevent the virus from spreading and “we must avoid something like this altogether”.
Hugh Adler, the doctor who treated the monkey box patients, admitted: “We have never seen this method before, which is amazing.”
What is monkey disease?
Symptoms of monkey flu include fever, headache, bloating, back pain, muscle aches, and lethargy.
As the temperature rises, a rash starts on the face and then moves to other parts of the body, but most often on the palms and soles of the feet.
The infection goes away without medical intervention after the symptoms have lasted between two to three weeks.
The disease is transmitted to a person when they come in contact with infected people. The virus can enter the body through cracks in the skin, respiratory tract or through the eyes, nose or mouth.
It is spread from infected animals such as monkeys, rats and squirrels to humans or from surface contaminated surfaces and objects such as bedding and clothing.
There is no cure for monkey flu, but its spread can be controlled by some control that prevents it from spreading.
There is a vaccine against chicken pox, which has been proven to be 85 percent effective in preventing the disease, and it is rarely used.
So, what happens?
We know this disease is different, but we do not know why.
There are two possible explanations: either the virus has changed, or the old virus has found the right place and time to thrive.
Monkey is a DNA virus, so it does not change as quickly as cowpea or influenza.
Early genetic analysis indicates that current cases are closely related to the patterns of the virus seen in 2018 and 2019.
To be sure very soon, but at present there is no evidence that this is a new modified variant.
However, we have learned from the experience of Ebola and Zika virus infections over the past decade. You do not have to switch viruses to take advantage of an opportunity.
Adam Kucharsky, a professor at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, said: “For a long time we thought Ebola was easy to control, but we just realized it was not.”
It is not clear why homosexual and bisexual men are disproportionately affected by this disease.
Does sexual behavior facilitate the spread of the disease? Is this just a coincidence? Is it because this group is more concerned about sexual health and is constantly being tested?
Probably a factor as to why they’re doing so poorly.
Earlier large-scale measles vaccines provided some protection for the elderly against monkey flu, which is closely associated with smallpox.
“It’s spreading more effectively than it did in the past, but we do not see any sign of it spreading,” Adler said, adding that he still expects the disease to clear itself.
Understanding how the eruption started will help predict what will happen next. We know that this is only the tip of the iceberg, because the cases found do not match the image of an elegant person spreading the disease to another person and so on.
In contrast, many cases appear to be unrelated, so there is no connection between the cases, but rather a chain of cases spreading to Europe and beyond.
One explanation for the current incidence of the epidemic is that recently a large number of people gathered at a large event such as a festival, and participants became infected with monkey flu at that location and spread the disease to different countries.
An alternative explanation for infecting many unrelated people is that the virus has been spreading for some time without anyone noticing and infecting many.
However, more cases are expected to follow.
Jamie Whitworth, a professor at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, said: “I do not think the public needs to worry about this at the moment, but I do think we’re not able to detect all these cases and control them.”
“But remember, we were not in the same situation as Kovit.
Monkeypox is not a well-known and new virus, and it is often mild, and we already have vaccines and treatments, although it is very dangerous for young children, pregnant women and those with weakened immune systems.
But it spreads more slowly than govt’s disease, and the characteristic, painful rash makes it difficult to go unnoticed like a cough. This simplifies the task of diagnosing the disease.
But Hans Glck, the World Health Organization’s regional director for Europe, warned: “As we enter the summer, meetings, festivals and banquets, the rate of spread will increase.”
