Under the patronage of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai, “May God Protect Him”, the “Arab Geniuses” initiative is the largest Arab initiative. Tomorrow, Monday, January 8, 2024 in Dubai, honor the winners of its first edition of the awards in six categories.
The ceremony will be held at the Museum of the Future in Dubai, in the presence of thinkers, scholars, ministers, diplomats, officials and a host of visual, audio and digital media from across the Arab world.
A continuous celebration of Arab minds
Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum honored the winners of the “Geniuses of the Arabs” initiative, confirming the level of confidence they hold as Arab personalities who excel in their specialties, are creative in their best fields and inspire millions. According to His Excellency Muhammad bin Abdullah Al Gharqawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs, Minds and Youth in the Arab World and Beyond, Chairman of the Supreme Council of the “Arab Geniuses” Initiative.
Al-Gerqawi said: “The Genius of the Arabs is an ongoing celebration of the great Arab minds who have innovated, created and contributed to the development of the global scientific, intellectual, cultural and literary community, as well as contributing to the fields of design and architecture. Resuming the contribution of our region and its people to the march of human civilization and exceptional achievements in engineering, medicine and technology.
Al-Kherkawi noted the commitment of the “Arab Geniuses” initiative, which has become the Arab Nobel Prize, to continue to celebrate Arab achievements and provide more opportunities for distinguished Arabs to expand the impact of their creativity, inventions, research and achievements in key sectors to create a more prosperous future for societies and support the Arab and the entire human race.
Six winners
The celebration will witness Dr. Hani Najm who won the award in the medical category, Prof. Fadel Adeeb who won the engineering and technology category and Dr. Muhammad Al-Erian who won the “Geniuses of the Arabs” award. In the economics category, Professor Nevin Khashab won the award in the Natural Sciences category, and architect Lina won the Al-Khatma Award in the Architecture and Design category, and Professor Wasini Al-Araj won the “Geniuses of the Arabs” award. Award in Literature and Art category.
