Dubai issued Resolution No. (16) of 2023 approving the list of qualifications for promotion of local soldiers serving in the Emirate of Dubai. and conditions required for promotion to various ranks, including courses and procedures for personal interviews, physical examination and other conditions to be passed by associates before running for promotion.
2023 Ordinance No. The provisions of (27) shall apply to all local military personnel employed in any regular military or civilian establishment, subject to the provisions of Act No. (6) of 2012 relating to the management of human resources employed by local military personnel. in the Emirate of Dubai, or any other law in lieu thereof regarding their promotion and retirement.
Promotion and Retirement Committee
The decree states that in every military or regular civil institution in the Emirate of Dubai, a committee called “Promotion and Retirement Committee” shall be constituted by the decision of its Commander-in-Chief or Director General and so on. Salary after promotion
According to the decree, subject to the provisions of Law No. (6) of 2012 relating to the management of human resources for local military personnel serving in the Emirate of Dubai, a person who is promoted from being a member of any military or regular civilian organization, or any other law modifying the same, shall be entitled to the total of the rank to which he is promoted. Salary or his salary, total amount before promotion and periodic bonus for the post to which he is promoted, whichever is higher on the date of promotion.

Dubai No. (6) In accordance with the provisions of the Manpower Management Act for local military personnel serving in the emirate, the decree specifies that if a retired employee decides to return to duty after being recommended for retirement on health grounds. Publication of administrative decisions
Pursuant to the provisions of this Decree, the Chief of Police and Public Security, Dubai Emirate or his representative, shall issue necessary decisions to implement the provisions of this Decree, except for decisions for which the Commander-in-Chief or the Director-General of the Regular Army or Civil Department and their equivalents are responsible, and Law No. 2012 of 2012 ( 6) Chapter Five of Dubai regarding human resource management for local military personnel serving in the Emirate, and any provision in other laws to the extent inconsistent with the provisions of this Decree are hereby repealed.
This Decree shall be published in the Official Gazette and shall come into force from the date of its publication, which shall be implemented on the same date as Decree No. (16) of 2023.
