The rollout of Android 13 based MIUI 14 skin is still ongoing. Today, at least seven Redmi and Poco smartphones are affected. Therefore, these entry-level and mid-range devices will also enjoy the latest improvements in the interface from the Chinese manufacturer.
According to the MIUI portal, Xiaomi is gearing up to roll out Android 13, its software overlay based on MIUI 14, to seven new devices. As we know, Android 14 will be available to public from August or September 2023. Since its launch in December 2022, MIUI 14 has been launched for high-end Xiaomi smartphones such as the Xiaomi 13, for example. Recently, the Chinese company has focused on making the software overlay available for mid-range devices from Redmi and Poco.

Seven new smartphones will be able to take advantage of the new interface offered by MIUI 14. Here is the list:

So it’s worth noting that devices like the Redmi Note 11, which offer a complete experience at a low price, will be the first to benefit from this update.
Xiaomi now offers MIUI 14 on seven Poco and Redmi smartphones
While MIUI 14 is mainly optimized for high-end devices powered by Qualcomm chipsets like Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, 8 Gen 1+ and Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, Xiaomi is now focusing on entry-level Redmi smartphones and Poco. According to the manufacturer, they will be able to take advantage of the Photon Engine, which according to Xiaomi allows to speed up the performance of third-party applications by 88% and significantly reduce power consumption.
At the user interface level, they can customize their smartphones with “super icons”, which allow them to display icons of different sizes and adjust their layout more freely.
