Argentina star Lionel Messi will not be moving to Barcelona in the upcoming winter transfer window, according to Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo.
The newspaper explained that everything being raised about the former “Barca” legend’s return to the Camp Nou is just noise and rumours.

He added: “The rumors of a possible loan next January have not been considered by the Catalan club or Messi or Inter Miami.”
He continued: “Barcelona’s real focus is on signing Brazilian Vitor Roque, especially as the addition of the seven-time world player of the year will not be something the Blaugrana can afford in terms of financial fair play, as the Spanish professional league do not count his salary as low.
He concluded: “Messi has 4 months left after Inter Miami did not qualify for the American League finals, but he actually has two matches with the team and will play 4 official matches with the Argentina national team. He said he will take five or six weeks off in December (“December, but in January he will have pre-season in Miami, because the season for Inter starts in February, and he can come to Barcelona.
