Star Menna Shalabi, artist Hana Al-Zahed, artist Hana Sheikha, renowned artist Nabil Al-Halabavi and artist Sherry Adel were eager to mourn the late Ashraf Abdel Ghafoor who left our world. Yesterday evening, Sunday, at the age of 81, he died following a traffic accident with his wife on the road to Egypt, in the Alexandria desert, and his wife survived.

The funeral procession of the late artist Ashraf Abdel Ghafoor was held yesterday afternoon Monday from the Police Mosque in Sheikh Zayed, in the presence of a large number of artists who were keen to attend and offer condolences to the late artist’s daughter. Reham Abdel Ghafoor, who has been in a state of shock since learning of her death yesterday, Sunday, among the main stars who attended the funeral were Ahmed Al-Sakka, Ahmed Helmi, Mostafa Qamar, Tonya Samir Khanem and her husband, journalist Rami Ratwan, Ahmed Al-Sadaani, Hanan Mudawa, Mohammed Riad and Tina El-Sherbini.

The funeral was attended by Merwat Amin, Wafa Ameer, Karim Fahmi, Hamza Al-Ayli, Hosam Dagar, Ahmad Badir, Ashraf Zaki, Ihab Fahmi, Basma, Hala Shiha, Hana Shiha, Salwa Muhammad Ali, Suhair Al-Morshedi, Mahmoud. Artist Ashraf Abdel Ghafoor has passed away before he could finish filming his latest artwork “Soda Point” with Ahmed Fahmy and Nahed El Sebai, which was being filmed in the Lebanese capital Beirut.
