Egyptian media outlet Reham Saeed posted a shocking news on his Facebook page yesterday (Tuesday) announcing his retirement from social media. She will not forgive, she said.

And he wrote: “I’m going to die soon, so I’ll stay away from social media so I can sit down with my kids as much as possible, especially my young son. It’s magic, depression and it can. Be honest.”

I sent a message to Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi: “The last thing I want to give to the president is that if I die, my children will know what I have achieved and what I have done. You do not know their consent. My children saw me in court and in cases. Tortured. My son is two months old. He went to jail and saw me. He cheated on my family with me because he was not needed.

She ended a message: “I’m sorry for the success … I’m sorry for wanting all the people to do good. I’m sorry I do not have relations that support me inside and outside Egypt.”

She made sure to retire of her own free will: “I retired with my mindset, social media was in my mood … the camel was carried away, but I have no right to it.”

Over the years, Saeed has sparked controversy with his television show “Sabaya al-Khair” and entered into a number of crises that have reached the arenas of the Egyptian judiciary, and more than once announced his retirement from the media.

In 2018, the Supreme Council for Media Regulation in Egypt called for Sayeed to be suspended from work for a year for “insulting” obese women during a presentation on his weekly program “Sabaya” on the private satellite channel “Al-Hayat”. Decided. Egyptian media reported that the council at the time had decided to ban Saeed from appearing in any media for a year, believing that “Saeed” had violated his personal opinion with his media obligation and violated his professional obligation to commit a media crime by hurting Egyptian women. Standards by the use of phrases, words and descriptions that usually indicate clear and overt contempt. “For the women of Egypt,” according to the text of the conclusion.
