James Madison (55), Ademola Lukman (59) and Nigeria’s Kelechi Ihanacho (65) scored Leicester’s 3 goals in 10 minutes in the second half.
But City added the fifth and sixth goals scored by Emerick Laborde (69) and Sterling again (87).
Manchester City are leading with 47 points, while Leicester are ninth with 22 points.
Chelsea beat Aston Villa 3-1. Aston Villa first scored by Reese James (28) with a single.
In the second half, Belgium’s Romelu Lukaku (56) scored the second goal for Chelsea, then Jorginho scored the third goal (90 + 3) with a penalty kick again.

Chelsea’s 41 points were third, just one goal away from Liverpool, and second, Aston Villa’s 22 points lasting tenth.
Arsenal beat Norwich City by five goals: Pugayo Saga (6 and 67), Scottish Kieran Tyrney (44), Frenchman Alexandre Lacazette (84), penalty kick and Emily Smith Roy (90 + 1).
Arsenal are fourth with 35 points and Norwich are 20th with 10 points.
Harris Kane (32), Brazil’s Lucas Maura (34) and South Korea’s Hyung-Min Son (74) scored three goals as Spurs beat their guest Crystal Palace.
Tottenham are fifth with 29 points, while Crystal are 20th with 20 points.
