Here is the list of 10 largest stadiums in the world..and two Arab stadiums are in the list.
According to a report published by the Spanish newspaper “Marca” last Monday, India’s Naritra Modi Stadium tops the list of the world’s largest stadiums with a capacity of 132,000 spectators.
The report includes two stadiums in the Arab world, the Lusail Stadium, which hosted the Qatar World Cup final between France and Argentina, ranked eighth among the world’s largest stadiums with 88,966 spectators, while the Burj Al Arab Stadium. 11th in Egypt with 86,000 fans.
The May 1 Stadium in South Korea came second with 114,000 spectators, the Cricket Stadium in Melbourne, Australia was third with 100,024, while Spanish side Barcelona’s Camp Nou was fourth with 99,354.
South Africa’s Soccer City Stadium came fifth with 94,736 spectators, while America’s Rose Bowl was sixth with 92,800 fans, while London’s famous Wembley Stadium had 90,000 fans. Seventh was Azteca Stadium in Mexico with 87,523 spectators in ninth place, followed by Bukit Jalil Stadium in Malaysia in tenth place with 87,411 fans.
