Apple has included several features in the updated version of the FaceTime video calling app in the iOS 15 version that is expected to be released this fall. These features include the ability to schedule calls using the Internet connection you send to others.
Schedule calls on FaceTime
Sending a link to join your FaceTime calls is a useful method, otherwise not all participants will be ready at once.
To do this, follow these steps:
Run the app on your iPhone or iPod.
Click the Create Link option at the top left of the screen.
Choose how you want to share the link with others.
You can share the link via AirDrop, chat processors, email or copy it to your phone clipboard.
You can add a name to your FaceTime call link before sending it to others.
Once the call link is sent, others can press it directly and join the call over the Internet for users on Apple devices or for Android or Windows users.
When others join the call, they can enter their name if they wish. A notification is made when a person clicks on the joining link. And you have the option of whether or not he joins the call.
It is worth noting that the updated version of the FaceTime app has several features in the iOS 15 version.
For example, the app now lets you watch videos and enjoy music with friends and family with the new SharePlay feature.
There are improvements to the application interface, new portrait mode for blurring playback in video calls and more.
