The Japanese government is expected to ease laws on drones this year, with about 200 companies expected to exhibit their latest designs at an exhibition in Siba, near Tokyo, according to Euronews.

Competing telecommunications company KDDI has unveiled its latest drone that can remotely control tablet data using a tablet computer via data networks.
If the area is currently uninhabited, the government will allow drones to fly outside the operator’s vision, and is expected to allow flights in populated areas from this year.
