Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed approved the provision of housing benefits for citizens in Abu Dhabi.

As Ruler of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, under the guidance of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Head of State, Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince and President of Abu Dhabi, the Governing Council of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi has approved the provision of housing benefits for citizens of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, with a total value of AED 3.1 billion. dirhams, benefiting 1,807 male and female citizens across the emirate.

The package includes the provision of ready-made houses worth one billion dirhams to low-income earners and various housing loans worth 2.1 billion dirhams to citizens.

The release of the second housing concession in 2023 coincides with the advent of the blessed Eid al-Adha and stems from the leadership’s desire to consolidate social stability and improve the quality of life and dignified lives of citizens. This ensures the continuity of the comprehensive development process in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.

With this new package, the total value of housing provided to citizens in Abu Dhabi will rise to around six billion dirhams by 2023, benefiting 3,607 male and female citizens in various parts of the emirate.

Muhammad Ali Al-Shurafa, Head of the Department of Municipalities and Transport and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Abu Dhabi Housing Authority, expressed his gratitude to the Head of State, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. His Highness’s support for the housing sector, and his continued interest in meeting the needs of all citizens and achieving their aspirations to improve social welfare and enhance their quality of life.

For his part, Hamad Hareb Al Muhairi, Director General of the Abu Dhabi Housing Authority, said: “The directives of the leadership to deliver the second set of housing facilities in 2023 reflect its constant interest in providing citizens with all means for a decent life. , and improving the quality of life and well-being for all members of the Abu Dhabi Emirate community. Recently, the Al-Fala and Sweehan residential projects were opened, offering citizens around 1,000 new homes with high specifications.
