I introduced a company Google A new feature of the Google app on iOS and iPadOS allows iPhone and iPad users to auto-fill passwords using the Google app. This feature simplifies password management and provides additional convenience to iOS users. Here is a step-by-step guide on how to set up. Upgrade the Google app on iPhone or iPad as the default autofill provider.
– Download and install the latest version of the Google app
Before you begin, make sure you have the latest version of the Google app installed on your iPhone or iPad. If you haven’t already downloaded it from the App Store.
– Access device settings
Go to Settings on your iPhone or iPad.
– Go to Password Options
Under the Settings app, scroll down and find the Passwords option and tap it to continue.
– Choose Google as your default autofill provider
Under Password Options, you’ll see a list of autofill providers, including iCloud Keychain. Among these options you can find Google. Select Google as your preferred autofill provider.
– Set autofill options
Once you’ve chosen Google as your autofill provider, you can customize your preferences, such as enabling Face ID or Touch ID for authentication.
– Enjoy convenient autofill with Google Apps
After you set Google as your default autofill provider, when you access a service that requires sign-in, you’ll see your sign-in credentials on your keyboard and authenticate yourself using Face ID or Touch ID, depending on your device’s capabilities.
This new feature simplifies password management and ensures easy access to your credentials when you need them. The simplicity of the autofill functionality in the Google app goes beyond the app and works seamlessly across your iOS device and across different apps.
