How To Change Your Amazon Password

Desktop

Go to Amazon in your browser and then visit Your account Click the drop-down menu button at the top of the page.

Under your Accounts list, tap Login and Security Button.

In Login and Security, you can edit all the different aspects of your account. Click Release Next Password.

Enter your current password Current password Then enter the new password twice.

Click Save changes When you are done.

Android and iOS

Open the Amazon app on your mobile device and click on the second tab (head and shoulders) at the bottom of the interface. Under the second tab, click Your account Button.

Under Account settingsClick Login and Security Button.

In Login and Security, tap Release Next Password.

At Change PasswordBelow, enter the old password and the new password. Pipe Save changes When you are done.

How to reset your Amazon password

It will happen. You’ve going to sign in to Amazon and you will not remember for the rest of your life what you set your password for.

If you find yourself in this situation, do not worry. As long as you remember the login details for the email address associated with your Amazon account, you can reset your password. Let’s get over it right away.

Desktop

To reset your Amazon password on your computer, go to the Amazon website and hover your cursor over the drop-down menu above. Start the login process by clicking Sign in Button.

Tap Need help? Button below Sign in Region.

Select Forgot your password? From the options shown below.

Enter the email or phone number associated with your account. In this case, we send the email Password help.

After requesting the email, you will be sent back Verification required Page. You need to open a new tab or window and go to your email (or open your mobile for the code sent to your phone).

In your email, find out amazon password help Email. Open it.

Find out One time password (OTP) In the email, copy it to your clipboard.

Back to the Amazon page Verification required Page and paste the OTP into a file Enter the OTP Area. Click Completeness.

Enter the new password twice and tap Save changes and sign in.
