Binance is now facing regulatory uncertainty and legal challenges around the world. However. He published a trading platform in response to an investigation allegedly launched against him by the Paris public prosecutor’s office.
Binance is facing investigation by the Paris prosecutor’s office for alleged illegal money laundering and customer scanning activities. The platform said the organizers’ field trips were part of their duties in France.
He added that the relevant French officials had conducted a field trip last week. The cryptocurrency exchange reportedly cooperated with investigators and followed all obligations. He added that his team will work closely with French regulators and law enforcement agencies to achieve high standards.
Binance declined to comment on law enforcement or the details of the ongoing investigation. However. It emphasized that all details of its users are kept safe with them and will be provided to the authorities upon request.
CZ comes to the rescue
Binance’s CEO described the events as another FUD and said that unannounced on-site inspections of regulated entities are subject to standards in France. He said these rules are now being followed by the site as well.
He noted that the on-site for Binance France took place two weeks ago and the trading platform was fully cooperative.
According to CZ, Binance isn’t the only crypto company under scrutiny in the past week. But other well-known Paris-based cryptocurrency exchanges are also under investigation.
