DUBAI, United Arab Emirates (CNN) — Egypt’s interior ministry has announced the arrest of an unemployed man who specialized in luring women and girls by tricking them into offering him a job. It prompts them to commit immoral acts.
The ministry said in its official account on the “X” site, Saturday evening, earlier in a post on Twitter: “The circumstances published in a newspaper were disclosed, including a press investigation (an international network that lures teenage girls. Via the Internet).
The ministry explained in its release: “Investigation revealed that the activity was carried out through two accounts on the social networking site Facebook, and that the incident (an unemployed person with criminal records residing in Kisa Governorate). “
The post added: “After legalizing the practices, he was arrested and found in possession of a laptop, a mobile phone and a portable hard disk.”
“Technical examination of the seized material revealed evidence and evidence of the incident and his management of the above two accounts through which he impersonated two fictitious persons to lure the girls. They trick the girls, trick them into offering them jobs, lure them, get pictures and video clips from them and use them. Bargain with them, force them to commit immoral acts and get money from them in exchange for not publishing those videos.”
“Legal action has been taken and public prosecution has taken up the investigation,” the ministry concluded.
