He advanced to the Champions League semi-finals, tying with King Al-Ahly of Egypt

Egypt’s al-Ahly continued his successful campaign to defend the African Champions League title they have won in the last two editions, with its Moroccan host King Casablanca winning last night, 1-1 in the second leg. Quarterfinals of the Continental Tournament.

Al-Ahly won the first leg 2-1 in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, last Saturday, 2-1, setting a multiple record for winning the semifinals. Won a total of 3/2 in domestic and outdoor competitions and won 10 titles.

Raja made an early start with a goal signed by Fabrice Nujoma in the fifth minute before Ali Maloul missed a penalty kick to Al-Ahly in the 16th minute.

Al-Ahly soon made up for a missed penalty after its defender Mohamed Abdel Monim scored in the 44th minute.

Thus, al-Ahly reached the semifinals with rival champion ES Setif of Algeria in 1988 and 2014, who broke the Tunisian Esperance ban.
