Gulfood 2023 reinforces Dubai’s reputation as a global food and beverage hub

The Republic of Lithuania will participate with the National Pavilion at the Gulfood 2023 exhibition at the Dubai World Trade Center from February 20-24. Kostudis Navikas, Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Lithuania, expressed his delight at the opening of his country’s national pavilion at Gulfood 2023 in Dubai, the world’s largest food distribution event. He lauded the efforts of the organizers of Gulfood Expo to become a hub for sector trends and a global force in the distribution sector, adopting the motto of promoting collaboration, creativity and change among the food and beverage communities of the world. .
The Gulffood 2023 exhibition enhances Dubai’s reputation as a global hub for food and drink, and supports the UAE’s position as a pioneer in transforming the sector, the Lithuanian Agriculture Minister said.
The pavilion features leading products from dozens of Lithuanian companies in the field of food industries, which use the latest technologies in agriculture, production, packaging and export to the Gulf and international markets. While participating in this event, the extent of growth of the food and beverage industry in Lithuania and the success stories achieved in this sector, as well as future plans and the state of the agri-food industries in the world today.

On the other hand, the opening event for the Lithuanian delegation at the “Inspire” conference with the Gulffood 2023 exhibition will be the participation and presence of the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Lithuania, Dr. and Veterinarian. In the Republic of Lithuania;
Laurinas Mackenez from AGUA Group will participate in the event to discuss the implications of sustainable food production, renewable methods and short chains in the food sector. It will also review the importance of putting strict controls on the food certification and classification process. He will talk about informed food production, consumption chains and demand expectations, in addition to the importance of educating consumers and building trust and transparency, one of the most important factors contributing to the growth of the sector.
