When American actress and director Olivia Wilde received a mysterious envelope while on stage in Las Vegas about her upcoming film, many in the auditorium thought it was a staged prank.
In fact, he received legal documents sent by his ex-partner, actor Jason Sudakis.
This happened during his presentation with clips of his upcoming film “Don’t Worry Darling” at the Cinema Con in Las Vegas on Tuesday, and the actress looked at the envelope and asked: “Is this for me?”
“It’s very strange, I’m opening it now,” he added. An unidentified person kept an envelope with the words “Personal and Confidential” written on it on the stage.
“Is this a script? Well, understand. Thank you,” the actress continued, looking at the contents of the envelope. He ended his presentation without any mention of this envelope, and many thought it was a new project, which was handed over to Olivia Wilde.
But it was revealed on Wednesday that the envelope contained legal documents relating to two children who were with his former partner Jason Sudakis, who played the lead role in the TV comedy Ted Lasso.
A source close to Jason Sudakis told the AFP on Wednesday that “documents have been prepared regarding the identification of the judiciary in relation to Wilde and Sudakis’ two children.”
The same source said, “Sudekis does not know when and where this envelope was issued because it is the sole responsibility of the company concerned and he would never have allowed the documents to be issued in such an improper manner.”
Neither Olivia Wildo nor her lawyers have commented on what happened.
Olivia Wilde’s current partner and British singer and actor is starring in the psychological thriller “Don’t Worry Darling” based on the Harry Styles “Truman Show” and “Inception”.
