Emirati director Naila Al Khaja’s debut film, “Three”, will be shown to the world for the first time at the Red Sea Film Festival in its third session in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The festival will start on November 30 and continue till December 9. “Three” is the only film participating in the festival directed by an Emirati creator.
Drama
The film is backed by Emirates Airlines and “Three” is billed as a psychological drama. It is co-written by Ben Williams and stars British actor Jefferson Hall, known for his role in “Christopher Nolan”. And the “House of the Dragon” series was a hit.
The cast includes actress Fayden Ahmed, Noora Al Abed, veteran Emirati actor Marai Al Halian, Muhannad Bin Hudhail and first-time rising Emirati actor Saud Al Jaroni.
The movie “Muhoo” revolves around an exceptional mother’s journey to save her son.
The independent film was shot over 24 days in Thailand and the United Arab Emirates and is executive produced by “Three” along with Sultan Saeed Al Darmaki, Daniel Gerilli, Jean-Charles Levy and Naila Al Ghaja. : Mona Isa Al Kurq, Jefferson Hall and Siddharth Thakkar and Raziq Thakkar.
