ABU DHABI, 10th October / WAM / The Emirates Equestrian and Racing Federation has announced that the UAE Show Jumping Team will participate in 7 international competitions in the country in the coming period, the most important of which are the qualifiers for the 2024 World Cup.
Abu Dhabi Championship – The team will begin its participation in the second week of December next with the four-star Abu Dhabi Championship. At the end of the same month, Al Ain will participate in the International Championship – the three-star category. International Rowing Championships and Nations Cup in January 2024 and another two-star division championship in February 2024. Abu Dhabi and Sharjah will also participate in the tournament in the same month.
Hosam Jamid, Head of Show Jumping and Dressage at the Emirates Equestrian and Racing Federation, said: “Most of these championships are very important as they qualify for the 2024 World Cup in Saudi Arabia and they also raise the level of preparedness. Riding and Horses Ahead of the 2024 Paris Olympics.”
The team will begin its camp in London next Friday as part of its preparations for the Olympics, and its 20-year-old hero Omar Al Marzooqi, who won an individual silver at the Asian Games in China, confirmed that the camp represents an important phase. In the production plan.
