ABU DHABI, 18th July, 2020 (WAM) — The UAE, represented by the Federation of Emirates Chambers, participated in the 35th meeting of the Board of Directors of the Islamic Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture. 17th and 18th July in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan.
The meeting was attended by around 100 delegates from 20 countries and was attended by the Chairman of the Federation of Emirates Chambers, the Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the representative of the Federation, His Excellency Abdullah Mohammed Al Mazrouei. A number of important issues that contribute to the growth and development of economic and commercial cooperation relations and the volume of trade exchanges between Islamic countries and the revitalization of intra-trade.
As a representative of the UAE private sector, Emirates Chambers Federation is keen to participate in such events organized by companies and economic groups to protect the Emirates and Emirates Chambers Federation members. One of the active members of the Board of Directors of the Islamic Chamber, and to achieve the aspirations of strengthening and improving the relations of the UAE private sector, business with its counterparts from other sectors in the OIC countries.
It is noteworthy that the meeting of the Islamic Council was held under the leadership of the President of the Islamic Council, Abdullah Saleh Kamal, in which all the executive council members from the Islamic countries participated and started its work.
