140 male and female athletes from 14 Asian countries participated in the tournament organized by the UAE Fencing Federation from September 6 to 8 at the Ras Al Khaimah Exhibition Centre.
Sheikh Engineer Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi was eager to attend the championships, meet the participating players and crown the winners.
He said, “Participants in this tournament gave unique performances in three weapons – Ebi, Saber and Fluorescent – over 3 days and as former champions of the continent, they ensured that they maintain their high level. skills and abilities.”
