SHARJAH, 6th July, 2020 (WAM) — Rubu’ Qarn Foundation for Leaders and Innovators Industry has launched the Rubu Qarn Camp, titled “Imagination and Creativity Camp”. . The “Imagination and Creativity” camp is part of the activities of the Rubu’ Qarn Theater and Performing Arts 2023 program targeting Sharjah Children, Sharjah Youth and members of Sharjah and Sharjah Women to develop skills within the age group of 6 to 6 years. 31 years, graduates of both performing arts and puppetry.
The activities of the camp are divided into two phases, the first is “Gesture Arts and Creativity” and the second is “Puppetry Arts and Imagination”, the camp participants are expected to present 4-8 art performances for up to 10 hours daily. Training that qualifies them to present these programs to the public.
The first phase of the Rubu Karn Camp for Theater and Performing Arts “Imagination and Creativity” includes workshops in gestural and creative arts, which seeks to introduce participants to various practices. The second phase of the camp offers “Puppetry and Imagination” workshops within the puppetry program, giving participants the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of creative and expressive skills and gesture while silent performance and movement talk reach any audience. Creating art and bringing some puppet models to life, writing their stories and narratives, giving presentations with different techniques of puppetry according to best practices and creative standards will pave the way for creative imagination and artistic expression.
